Red As the Flame

An abstract work in fiery red and gold. A clear red gem is surrounded by gold-edged flames accented with sparkling rubies and yellow starbursts. The swirling, spiraling fractals in the background appear in deeper colors inside the gold filigree of the flame motif.

This was part of a three-part color series I created back in 2011. The backgrounds are from fractals, put together in Paint Shop Pro.
